Charlie Parker was considered one of the most important figures in jazz history. Charlie Parker born in the town Zion, Illinois, August 29, 1920 was an only child of Charles and Addie Parker. Jazz Saxophonist and composer Charlie Parker is one of the well-known musicians, who changed the jazz scene. Charlie Parker is generally acknowledged to be the fountainhead of contemporary jazz.
